The Regal Beagle Bakery was established in 2009 to provide our rescue Barney and our other dog friends a healthy alternative to the common store-bought treat. Our treats contain healthy ingredients and are fully customizable. All treats are baked fresh daily and personally taste-tested and approved by our rescues Barney and Coco. Besides offering healthy, customized dog treats, we hope to raise awareness about all of the wonderful shelter dogs out there still waiting for loving homes.

 

Our rescue, Barney, started out at the Southside SPCA in Meherrin, VA. Through the Homebound Hounds Program (a puppy rescue mission rescuing and re-homing puppies from the South destined to die) he was able to travel many miles north to the Sterling Animal Shelter located in Sterling, MA. This is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter. We adopted Barney in September of 2007 and he now lives happily here in Massachusetts. 

 

In 2011, we adopted Coco from the same shelter where we adopted Barney. Coco originally came from the All Sato Rescue in Puerto Rico. They rescue and rehome Satos (Sato is slang for mutt) and address the causes of animal overpopulation, abuse, and neglect.
